FINISHING THE IRONMAN

Family and friends are going to finish what Dax started. He'd completed the swim and transitioned to the bike course. Dax rode almost 50 miles before he ran into problems. Finishing the Ironman will provide closure and give those who admired, respected and loved Dax the opportunity to participate and be a part of completing his dream.

People who want to participate and help finish the Ironman can sign-up to ride a portion of the bike course or run on the marathon course. The routes are show below and you can ride/run as much as you like. There is no distance requirement. Just have fun, do it with a smile (like Dax) and help us finish what Dax started.

For those of you who won't be able to make it to Madison but want to bike or run for Dax please post your pictures or videos on the Photo and Video Memories page.

Thank you to everyone that have already signed up to run and/or bike on the 29th! Both courses are posted on the website. Dax's family will cross the finish line in front of Monona Terrace at 1:00 p.m. that day. It would be great if everyone can coordinate their bike or run finish to end up near there around 12:45 p.m. so they can cheer on and support the family. We also understand that people might want to run or bike earlier that day, on a different section of the course, or even near their own home.
