William G. Lunney Lake Farm County Park

We've reserved shelter #3. Activities will begin after the Ironman is completed (approximately 2 pm)
OVERVIEW OF THE GATHERING (POST IRONMAN)
Time to Eat, Drink and be Merry
It is our hope that anyone that participates in completing the IronMan will have a meaningful and enjoyable time (or that you had fun from whenever and wherever you biked, or ran or walked for Dax!). Once the IronMan is complete ALL are welcome at Lake Farm Park. Follow the signs to Dax Bakken Memorial at shelter #3. We will enjoy what Dax would want us to - music, a deluxe taco bar, and each other. There will be a time to say a few words to the group as you wish.
SHARE YOUR PICTURES AND VIDEOS
We’ll have coolers of waters, sodas and drinks for the kids. There are also water fountains. Beer welcome, but you'll need to bring your own along with a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. There is a play structure for the children to play on and know that this park is near/on water, but not accessible for swimming.

ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDS
There is a children’s play structure and a spot to perhaps cast a fishing line near our site. Please consider bringing an outdoor game, bubbles, chalk or the like to share for the day. We’ll also provide garden rocks and paint markers for all to use to share a story or picture or memory for Dax’s family’s Rock Garden. If you’ll be staying late and want to make S’Mores, feel free to bring the goods. We can forage for roasting sticks!
